Young People in the World of Work: How to Avoid Precarious Traps
MaMa Network, a network of 58 youth centres across Slovenia, is organising two free training sessions on precarious work as part of the "DD—Decent Work" project. These sessions are intended for everyone working with young people who wish to incorporate topics such as workers' rights, financial literacy, workplace health, and entrepreneurship into their work.
The first training will occur from May 21 to 23 in Brežice, and the second from June 6 to 8 in Fiesa. Meals and accommodation in shared rooms are provided during the training.
During the training, you will:
• gain in-depth knowledge about decent work,
• learn a variety of methods that you can easily apply in your own work,
• Receive practical materials and tools to support your ongoing efforts.
The training schedule can be found in the attached invitations. Upon completion of the training, free legal counselling will also be available, which you can use either for yourself or in your work with young people.
You can register for the training [here], until May 12 for Brežice and May 23 for Fiesa.
