Become the voice of young people at climate negotiations
The National Youth Council of Slovenia (MSS), together with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy (MOPE), is announcing the fourth mandate of the Slovenian Youth Climate Delegate for the year 2026. The programme aims to involve young people in international climate negotiations, empower them, and raise awareness about climate change.
The selected delegate will participate in activities before, during, and after the sessions of the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties. They will attend the 63rd session of the Subsidiary Bodies in June 2026 in Bonn, Germany, as well as the COP31 Climate Conference in November 2026 in Antalya, Turkey.
Applicants must submit a completed and signed application form together with their CV. Incomplete applications will be excluded. The deadline for submission is 20 March 2026 at 23:59 by email (or by 15:00 on the same day if sent by regular mail). Before this, an online information session will be held on 9 March 2026 at 18:00 via Zoom, where the programme, expectations, and application process will be presented.
