Workshop for Everyone Interested in Working at the United Nations

This year, Slovenia is once again participating in the United Nations Young Professionals Programme (UN YPP). The YPP is one of the key entry programs for young professionals from Member States that are un- or under-represented in the UN Secretariat. It was established in 2010 with the aim of rejuvenating the workforce, increasing diversity, and ensuring a fairer geographical distribution of staff.

The programme is based on a highly competitive selection process, which includes a multi-stage examination, inclusion on a roster, and professional development and training for successful candidates. In 2025, 47 Member States, including Slovenia, are participating in the programme.

The UN Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC) will organize a workshop on Thursday, 30 October 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00, dedicated to YPP 2025, where all relevant information on the application and examination process will be provided to interested candidates.
