As part of a national project partnership, the project Prehod mladih + (Transition of Young People +) is being implemented, with the aim of contributing to an easier and better-supported transition of young people with special needs from education to the labour market.

Through preventive action and systematic professional support, the Prehod mladih + project promotes the empowered entry of young people with special needs into the labour market, increases their employment opportunities, and contributes to greater social inclusion and equal employment opportunities. An important part of the project activities is dedicated to establishing contact with employers and involving young people with special needs in a 10-day training programme or education with practical work experience.

The project is implemented throughout Slovenia. It involves 13 project partners, and the project coordinator is ZIZRS – Združenje izvajalcev zaposlitvene rehabilitacije v Republiki Sloveniji (Association of Employment Rehabilitation Providers in the Republic of Slovenia). By September 2029, the project foresees the inclusion of 2,500 young people with special needs at the overall project level. The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

The purpose of the project and the target group are presented in more detail in the attached brochure and at www.prehodmladih.si.
